About the Practice
When a young person needs to speak before they are ready to tell home or school, a confidential listening route can keep them from carrying it alone. NSPCC Northern Ireland Childline Derry Families supports Derry/Londonderry families with play-based and counselling-style emotional wellbeing support for children who need more than another conversation at the kitchen table. The focus is safer expression, stronger connection and practical understanding for the adults around the child.
