Autism & ADHD Diagnostic Centre

A Consultant Psychiatrist-led, multidisciplinary diagnostic clinic

Description

The Autism and ADHD Diagnostic Centre provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary diagnostic services for children, young people, and adults from their central Edinburgh clinic on Charlotte Street. Led by Consultant Psychiatrists, the team specializes in providing fast, highly accurate assessments that strictly adhere to Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) and NICE standards, ensuring that their diagnostic reports are widely recognized and accepted by local authorities, schools, and the NHS.

Understanding the urgency families face, the clinic is structured to offer minimal waiting times. They utilize only industry-recognised "Gold Standard" clinical tools, including the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule), ADI-R, and the Young DIVA-5 for ADHD.

Because Autism and ADHD frequently co-occur, their multi-disciplinary approach ensures a holistic evaluation of every child. Following a positive diagnosis, the team provides a detailed, comprehensive report complete with actionable, multidisciplinary recommendations. The centre also offers dedicated post-diagnostic Occupational Therapy and medication management, providing a complete continuum of care from initial consultation to long-term support. Flexible digital video consultations are also available for families unable to travel to the clinic.
