About the Practice
When autism questions and anxiety collide, parents need a clinician who can separate what is distress, what is development and what support should come next. Priory Birmingham Ruth Benjamin supports Birmingham families with child and adolescent emotional health, parent stress, school pressure and psychological questions that need more than guesswork. The aim is to turn distress into a clearer formulation, a safer plan and language parents can use with school, home and the wider support network.

Why Work With Us?
HCPC and BABCP Registered Clinician: Parents get a clearer, safer route by seeing the professional role, registration route and clinical scope before trusting someone with their child’s mental health.
Assessment and Therapy Pathway: Support looks beneath behaviour, avoidance or shutdown so the family can understand what the child is communicating.
Practical Family Support: Families can move from assessment into practical therapy planning with clearer language for the young person and adults around them.
