About the Practice
When anxiety or trauma is showing up as avoidance, anger or shutdown, parents need a formulation that makes the child feel less impossible to reach. Northern Clinical Psychology Services Leeds supports Leeds families with child and adolescent emotional health, parent stress, school pressure and psychological questions that need more than guesswork. The aim is to turn distress into a clearer formulation, a safer plan and language parents can use with school, home and the wider support network.

Why Work With Us?
HCPC Consultant Clinical Psychology: Parents get a clearer, safer route by seeing the professional role, registration route and clinical scope before trusting someone with their child’s mental health.
Trauma and Anxiety Focus: Support looks beneath behaviour, avoidance or shutdown so the family can understand what the child is communicating.
Practical Family Support: Support helps parents and young people understand how distress has developed, then choose a therapy route that fits the level of need.
