About the Practice
When culture, language or family context makes therapy feel harder to reach, children need support that does not ask them to leave parts of themselves outside. Emosi Sheffield supports Sheffield families with play-based and counselling-style emotional wellbeing support for children who need more than another conversation at the kitchen table. The focus is safer expression, stronger connection and practical understanding for the adults around the child.
Clinical Expertise
Therapeutic support for children with emotional and behavioural challenges
Emotional distress, behavioural challenges, early childhood pressure, family context and cultural access needs
Therapy can support SEND children where emotional needs and communication/cultural context need careful handling
Why Work With Us?
Transcultural Child Therapy: Parents can see the therapist role, membership route and safeguarding position before trusting someone with their child’s inner world.
Early Years Emotional Support: Play, creative work and counselling-style support help children communicate through action, story, art, movement and relationship when direct questions only make them close down.
Parent and School Connection: Support can help families make sense of emotional and behavioural challenges in a setting built for Sheffield children.
