About the Practice
When a child needs support but talking therapy feels too direct, a multi-modality arts therapy service can open more than one door. Birmingham Centre for Arts Therapies gives Birmingham families a creative therapy route for children and young people who cannot always explain distress through words alone. The work is therapy, not an art class, music lesson or drama club: the creative medium is used to support emotional expression, regulation and repair.
Clinical Expertise

Why Work With Us?
Registered Arts Therapy Charity: Parents can see the professional route behind the work, including protected-title or professional-body signals where available.
Five Creative Therapy Modalities: Creative arts therapy can help a child communicate through image, sound, story, movement, metaphor or making when direct questions create pressure.
Parent and Setting Awareness: Families can explore art, music, drama, movement or play routes without guessing which creative language will fit first.
