For children whose sensory needs sit alongside anxiety, trauma or early attachment difficulties, Beacon House offers occupational therapy inside a wider specialist team. Based at Cuckfield in West Sussex, its occupational therapists use a sensory integration approach to help children who are overwhelmed or under-responsive to the world around them.

Because the OTs work alongside psychologists, psychotherapists and family therapists, a child whose sensory difficulties are tangled up with emotional regulation gets care that treats the whole picture, not one piece in isolation. Assessment leads to practical strategies for home and school.
