If you are in Cardiff and cannot face another year on the NHS list, Mind Therapies offers a private neurodevelopmental assessment for your child without leaving Wales. Their multidisciplinary team brings together paediatric, psychiatric and psychology input under one roof.
Because a paediatrician is part of the team, the clinic can assess the medical side of ADHD and autism, not just the behavioural picture, and advise on medication where it is appropriate. Assessments follow NICE guidance and produce a diagnosis the NHS and schools recognise.
Families leave with a written report and practical recommendations for home and the classroom, so the appointment turns into real support rather than a label. Appointments are available in person in Cardiff and online.
