If "clumsy" or "lazy" has followed your child around and you need a real answer, Leeds Dyspraxia Assessments provides a formal assessment for developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia). The occupational therapist assesses against DSM-5 diagnostic criteria using standardised tools including the Movement ABC.
Following the guidelines of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and the European Academy of Childhood Disability, the assessment produces a formal written report you can use for school support and EHCP evidence.
Appointments are available in Leeds and the surrounding area.
