Oakspace Psychology is an Applied Educational Psychology practice based in North West Leeds, founded by Russell, an HCPC and AEP registered Educational Psychologist who holds a Doctorate of Applied Educational Psychology from Newcastle University. The practice's core values of Openness, Acceptance, and Kindness (OAK) underpin everything it does.
Russell has particular expertise in Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), neurodiversity (including autism and ADHD), general cognition and learning, and early years development. Oakspace Psychology works directly with children and young people to support self-esteem, emotional literacy, and wellbeing, alongside providing formal assessment and consultation services.
Families and schools across West Yorkshire can access psychological assessments, advice, and therapeutic activities, with a focus on whole-child, strengths-based approaches that help young people thrive. Reports include clear, actionable recommendations adapted to each child.
