Dr David Soares is an independent HCPC registered Educational Psychologist based on the Wirral Peninsula, providing educational psychology services to families and schools across Wirral, Liverpool, Merseyside, Cheshire, St Helens, Knowsley, Sefton, and North Wales. With extensive experience working alongside large local authorities, Dr Soares brings a thorough understanding of the statutory processes that affect children with SEND.
DS Psychology offers statutory EHCP assessments for families who need an independent professional view, taking care to understand and value the perspectives of the child, their parents, and the school throughout the process. The resulting report is a well-considered, thorough reflection of the child's needs, written to support effective planning and provision.
Families can refer directly without needing to go through a GP or school, and Dr Soares works flexibly to make the assessment process as smooth as possible for children and their families across the wider Liverpool and Merseyside area.
