If your child struggles with coordination, handwriting, or making sense of the world around them, Future Steps offers occupational therapy that gets to the root of it. Based in Thornaby-on-Tees, this independent practice delivers sensory, motor and attachment assessments for children, teens and adults across the North East, in clinic, at school and at home.
The team assesses both sensory processing and movement difficulties such as developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia), so children whose needs span both get one joined-up picture rather than separate appointments. Assessments use recognised, standardised tools and lead to goal-focused therapy.
You receive a written report you can take to school and use for EHCP evidence, with practical targets for everyday life. Appointments are in clinic, at school or at home across the region.
