About the Practice
When anxiety is showing up at the school gate, school-based mental health support can bring help closer to the problem. Portsmouth Mental Health Support Team Schools supports Portsmouth families with play-based and counselling-style emotional wellbeing support for children who need more than another conversation at the kitchen table. The focus is safer expression, stronger connection and practical understanding for the adults around the child.

Early Help in Schools: Play, creative work and counselling-style support help children communicate through action, story, art, movement and relationship when direct questions only make them close down.
