Dr Abigail Barragry is a qualified Child and Educational Psychologist, integrative therapist, and adult ADHD assessor based in Sheffield, with over 20 years of experience working with children, young people, and adults. She trained as a Child and Educational Psychologist and worked in local authority settings before moving fully into private practice, continuing her work from her clinic at 362 Sharrow Lane, Sheffield.
Dr Barragry is a full member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Association for Educational Psychologists (AEP), and a member of the Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (ACAMH). She takes a creative, whole-child approach to assessment and therapy, drawing on mindfulness, arts therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
Dr Barragry offers pre-statutory assessments, educational psychology consultations, and therapeutic support for children and young people with a range of learning and emotional needs, including neurodivergent presentations. She also provides training and consultation for school staff. Appointments are available in person in Sheffield and online.
