About the Practice
When a child’s distress is being felt by the whole family or school system, the support needs to include the adults around them. Safe Base Psychology Sheffield supports Sheffield families with child and adolescent emotional health, parent stress, school pressure and psychological questions that need more than guesswork. The aim is to turn distress into a clearer formulation, a safer plan and language parents can use with school, home and the wider support network.

Why Work With Us?
Family and Organisation Psychology: Parents get a clearer, safer route by seeing the professional role, registration route and clinical scope before trusting someone with their child’s mental health.
Autism and System Support: Support looks beneath behaviour, avoidance or shutdown so the family can understand what the child is communicating.
Practical Family Support: The service can help parents and professionals build a shared understanding instead of each person carrying a different version of the problem.
