About the Practice
When you are frightened by your child’s mental health and do not know which door to knock on, parent advice can steady the next step. YoungMinds Parents Helpline London Families supports South London families with play-based and counselling-style emotional wellbeing support for children who need more than another conversation at the kitchen table. The focus is safer expression, stronger connection and practical understanding for the adults around the child.

Why Work With Us?
Parent Mental Health Helpline: Parents can see the therapist role, membership route and safeguarding position before trusting someone with their child’s inner world.
Advice Signposting and Crisis Navigation: Play, creative work and counselling-style support help children communicate through action, story, art, movement and relationship when direct questions only make them close down.
Parent and School Connection: The service helps parents sort the problem, risk level and next route before choosing therapy, school support, GP or urgent care.
