About the Practice
When school behaviour has become a daily phone call, a school-facing route can help staff change the environment as well as the expectations. City of Birmingham School Behaviour Support Team Birmingham Behaviour Support supports Birmingham families, schools or care networks where behaviour is communicating distress, overwhelm, unmet need or risk. The focus is reducing danger and daily conflict while protecting the child’s dignity, communication and sense of safety.

Why Work With Us?
School-facing behaviour support team: Parents can quickly see the service route, credentials to check, age range and whether the work is built for home, school, care or commissioned support.
Behaviour as Communication: Behaviour is understood through triggers, function, regulation, communication, environment and adult response, so the plan solves the pressure points instead of blaming the child.
Parent and Professional Connection: Support can help adults move from repeated consequences to a shared plan that reduces distress, risk and daily conflict.
