    Description

    About the Practice
When a young person feels isolated by mental health pressure, support needs to rebuild connection, not just reduce symptoms. Platfform Young People Cardiff supports Cardiff families with play-based and counselling-style emotional wellbeing support for children who need more than another conversation at the kitchen table. The focus is safer expression, stronger connection and practical understanding for the adults around the child.

    Clinical Expertise
Young people’s wellbeing support, peer and community mental health support

Anxiety, isolation, confidence, emotional wellbeing, family stress and mental health pressure

Community mental health support can help neurodivergent young people who need connection as well as individual therapy

    Why Work With Us?
Welsh Young People Mental Health Route: Parents can see the therapist role, membership route and safeguarding position before trusting someone with their child’s inner world.

Community and Wellbeing Support: Play, creative work and counselling-style support help children communicate through action, story, art, movement and relationship when direct questions only make them close down.

Parent and School Connection: Families can find a less clinical first step where the young person needs trust and belonging before deeper therapy.
