About the Practice
When a child’s distress is affecting the whole family, parents need more than reassurance that it is just a phase. Anna Freud Centre Children and Families Support supports North London families with play-based and counselling-style emotional wellbeing support for children who need more than another conversation at the kitchen table. The focus is safer expression, stronger connection and practical understanding for the adults around the child.

Why Work With Us?
North London Child Mental Health Centre: Parents can see the therapist role, membership route and safeguarding position before trusting someone with their child’s inner world.
Child Parent and Family Routes: Play, creative work and counselling-style support help children communicate through action, story, art, movement and relationship when direct questions only make them close down.
Parent and School Connection: The service can help families think about the child’s emotional world and the adult responses that make daily life feel safer.
