About the Practice
When the problem is exploding in school as well as at home, support inside the school day can remove one huge barrier. Place2Be London School Counselling supports North London families with play-based and counselling-style emotional wellbeing support for children who need more than another conversation at the kitchen table. The focus is safer expression, stronger connection and practical understanding for the adults around the child.
Clinical Expertise
School counselling, child mental health support, parent work and whole-school wellbeing programmes
Anxiety, friendship stress, family change, grief, low confidence, school distress and emotional regulation

Why Work With Us?
School-Based Mental Health Charity: Parents can see the therapist role, membership route and safeguarding position before trusting someone with their child’s inner world.
Counselling Within Partner Schools: Play, creative work and counselling-style support help children communicate through action, story, art, movement and relationship when direct questions only make them close down.
Parent and School Connection: Children can receive support where the stress is showing up, while parents and schools have a better chance of responding together.
